System Requirements

  • Operating System: Debian-based systems.
  • Hardware: Advantech IPC or equivalent industrial hardware.
  • Network: Devices must be on the same subnet as the hosting IPC for access.

Accessing the Somic App Store

To access the Somic App Store, follow these steps:

  1. From a device on the same subnet as the IPC:

    • Open a web browser.
    • Enter the IPC’s IPv4 address in the browser’s address bar.
  2. From the IPC itself:

    • Open a web browser on the IPC.
    • Enter localhost in the address bar.

In some cases if that doesn’t work, try appending port :8080 or :8008

Finding the IPv4 Address of the IPC

  • Click Install next to the app.
  • Wait for the installation to complete.
